Their main goal was simple: tear down the visual barriers and build one massive, continuous room where the family could gather. They wanted a bright, modern look with a subtle coastal vibe, anchored by a huge island that could double as a dining table and a prep station. They also needed floors that could handle kids, pets, and heavy daily use without scratching or warping.
